  Mark zubert shot a 34 at Brookland Executive Nine Golf Course
  Disappointment of the day was hitting the green on 2 and then three putting. Argh! However, by bending over a little more and making sure I released the club head, my longer iron shots were much more accurate. Highlight of the game was on 8 when I hit my drive over the bunker and then chipped up from 50 yards and hit the flagstick for an easy tap in birdie. The birdie on 9 came from a mishit 3 that instead of going high and over a tree went straight and low under the tree and up on the bank of the green. A nice uphill chip left a solid 4 footer.   I nailed a nice 15ft putt on 4. I'm trying not to be afraid to hit it a few feet past the hole. It helped me a lot on the greens. 5 one-putts! I only hit two greens, but made them count. I almost had a birdie on 9. The last hole I hit a beautiful 180 yard high draw around some trees and into the fairway with my 3 wood. The high score on 5 came from a terrible fade attempt that shot straight right and landed behind a tree. I chipped out across the fairway, but then hit short of the green. I was lucky to get up and down over the sand for double bogey. posted over 2 years ago

  Mark zubert shot a 37 at Brookland Executive Nine Golf Course
  Hit a lot of shots right. Sliced my shots with my 3 wood very right. Highlight was the birdie on #3. Nailed the green and rolled to less than 5 feet. Had good birdie opportunities on 6 and 7 and the putts were REALLY close. 8's 2nd shot was a terrific punch under the trees and onto the green. On 9 I had a strange chip right next to a tree that hit the hillside of the green and bumped right and almost hit the flag stick. posted over 2 years ago
